The Canadian iGaming market continues to be an attractive location for online gaming operators and the studios that supply many of those platforms with games. High 5 Games is among them and founder and CEO Anthony Singer recently spoke with Canadian Gaming Business about the importance the company places on the Canadian market.
High 5 launched in 1995 and produces slot games for live casinos, online operators, and social gaming platforms. The company is known for its creativity and innovation with popular games like 88 Drums, Da Vinci Diamonds, and Buffalo Canyon.
The studio has sought more growth in recent years in North America, and Canada is now a crucial part of those plans. The company recently secured licenses with Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC) and British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC).
“It’s been a long journey to gain those approvals, but we anticipate going live with both in the next few months to give us a presence in all the key regulated Canadian provinces,” Singer said. “And we remain committed to expanding our presence in North America and delivering great content to our key partners, so we’re exploring more states and keeping an eye on new markets opening up.”
The company is also licensed in Ontario, New Jersey, Michigan, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia, and is headquartered in New York. The launch of “High 5 Jackpots” is now a highlight for the studio and is a multi-hourly and multi-weekly jackpots addition to the company’s Rapid Rewards feature.
The Rapid Rewards program offers players regular “Flash Prizes” as part of in-game “Journey” promotions. Players making qualifying wagers are eligible for the prizes as they move along the Journey. High 5 Jackpots now adds a progressive element to the mix. The feature is set to launch soon in New Jersey with plans to bring High 5 Jackpots to other regions as well, eventually including Canada.
“The journey to this almost-launch point has been significant, and we’re eager to witness players engage with their favorite brands through our multi-hourly and multi-weekly jackpots,” Singer said. “Jackpots have been a real success story across multiple gaming sectors, and both online gaming suppliers and operators have embraced the idea. What our jackpot product does differently is integrate seamlessly with Rapid Rewards, a tool designed to uniquely reward players.
“Building on the concept of Rapid Rewards, we introduced Rapid Rewards Flash Prizes and now, will introduce Rapid Rewards Progressive Jackpots, both allowing an enhanced gaming experience and new opportunities to win within the games.”
